    Terms & Conditions
            1. This competition is not open to employees of AVI or any AVI subsidiary, their advertising agencies and associated companies as well as their immediate families.
            2. Participants stand a chance of winning one of 20 Eat In hampers to the value of R500 each and a Grand Prize of a Canal Walk Gift Card to the value of R10 000, when they sign up for I&J’s “Eat In” newsletter.
            3. The Canal Walk Gift Card will be issued as two cards to the value of R5000 each due to a limit on the amount of credit that can be loaded onto one card.
            4. To be eligible for these prizes, participants are required to SMS ‘Eat In’ to 33355 and include their email address. SMS cost R1.50, free SMS don’t apply.
            5. Participants can only enter once and only valid email addresses will be entered into the draw.
            6. The Eat In hamper prize winners will be drawn at a rate of 5 random winners per day over the course of the Cape Town Good Food & Wine Show (23 – 26 May 2013).
            7. The Canal Walk Gift Card winner will be drawn on 27 May from all the entries received during the course of the show. The first entrant drawn, randomly, will be the winner.
            8. The winners must accept the prizes on offer. The prizes are not transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.
            9. The Eat In hamper winners will be notified instantly via SMS.
            10. The Canal Walk Gift Card winner will be notified via phone/email.
            11. If for any reason the telephone number provided by an entrant is no longer valid, or in the event that a winner does not respond to the telephonic/email communication, within a week of being so notified, such winners will forfeit their prize. Likewise, if any circumstances lead to a prize not being accepted or collected within 14 days of notification, the winner shall likewise forfeit the prize.
            12. This competition commences on 23 May 2013 and closes on 26 May 2013. The draw for the Canal Walk Gift Card will take place on 27 May and the winner will be notified within two weeks of the closing date.
            13. The Judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
            14. I&J may publish the names of the winners (and with his/her permission, photos of the winner) on its website, intranet or any other electronic or other promotional material.
            15. Failure to comply with these terms and conditions will result in immediate disqualification of a participant.
            16. Participants indemnify AVI, I&J, their advertising agencies, advisors, suppliers and nominated agencies to the fullest extent allowed in law, against any claims arising howsoever from their participation in this competition and/or use of the prize.

            3. To be eligible for the prize participants are required to sign up to the I&J monthly newsletters electronically at http://www.ij.co.za/category/eat-in – only new sign ups during a calendar month are eligible for the draw.
            4. Participants can only enter once by signing up to the newsletters.
            5. The first entrant, randomly drawn each month, will be the winner.
            6. The winner must accept the prize on offer. The prize is not transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.
            7. The winner will be notified via phone or email.
            8. Any winners, who do not respond to telephonic or email communication, within a week of the draw, will forfeit their prize and another winner will be chosen.
