I&J Cripsy n Tender Chicken Lemon Black Pepper Chicken with Oriental Green Bean and Almond Rice

Preparation Instructions

You'll need the following Ingredients:

450g I&J Crispy n Tender Lemon Black Pepper – cooked
60ml (1/4 cup) flaked almonds or whole blanched almonds
30ml ?(2 tablespoons) oil
1 medium onion – thinly sliced
15ml (1 tablespoon) freshly crushed garlic
10ml (2 teaspoons) finely sliced root ginger
500ml (2 cups) cooked rice
30ml (2 tablespoons) apricot jam
10ml (2 teaspoons) soy sauce
Thinly sliced red pepper to garnish
Lemon wedges

Preparation method:

  1. heat a frying pan (without any oil) and toast the almonds
  2. Remove from pan and set aside
  3. Heat oil in same pan and fry onion and garlic
  4. Add ginger and fry for a few second
  5. Stir in green beans, rice, apricot jam and soy sauce
  6. Heat through and serve with I&J Crispy n Tender Lemon Pepper and lemon wedges
  7. Top rice with toasted almonds and red pepper
