I&J Deep Water Hake: Hake Prime Steaks served with a Fragrant Thai Green Curry Sauce

Preparation Instructions

You'll need the following Ingredients:

4 portions Deep Water Hake Prime Steaks
1 teaspoon olive oil
2 tablespoons green curry paste(1 tablespoon for mild)
11/2 cans lite coconut milk(available at most large retailers)
Juice of 1 lime or lemon
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon fish sauce
2 tablespoons soya sauce
1 tablespoon cornflour
Pinch of salt and white pepper

Preparation method:

  1. Heat the oil in a small saucepan over medium heat, add the curry paste and 1/2 can coconut milk
  2. Allow to simmer until reduced
  3. Add the remaining ingredients and allow to cook until thickened. Set aside
  4. Cook the Hake Prime Steaks from frozen according to preparation guide. Once cooked, serve immediately with the curry sauce and Thai rice. Garnish with chopped spring onions
