Haddock Mascarpone Pasta

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 1 x 500 g pack I&J Haddock Prime Steaks
  • 20 ml butter
  • 10 ml freshly crushed garlic
  • 500 ml sliced white button mushrooms
  • 250 g Mascarpone cheese
  • 30 ml chopped chives

Method

  • Poach the I&J Haddock Prime Steaks as per the cooking instructions on the pack. Drain and break into large chunks.
  • Heat the butter in a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Saute the garlic and mushrooms for 2 minutes. Add the Mascarpone cheese and stir until melted. Simmer uncovered for 1 – 2 minutes. Stir frequently.
  • Remove from the heat. Stir in the haddock and chives. Season with salt, black pepper and a pinch of ground nutmeg.

Serving suggestion
Serve immediately with pasta of your choice.
