Moroccan Cape Hake Steaks

Ingredients

  • 1 x 500 g pack I&J Deep Water Hake Prime Steaks
  • 20 ml olive oil
  • ½ red pepper, chopped
  • Moroccan spice rub
  • sesame seeds

Method

  • Arrange the frozen I&J Deep Water Hake Prime Steaks in an ovenproof dish. Drizzle with the olive oil. Add the red pepper. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 200ºC for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and roll the Steaks in the oil in which they were baking. Sprinkle the Hake Steaks with the Moroccan spice and rub it into the tops and sides of the Hake Steaks.
  • Sprinkle with the sesame seeds. Bake for a further 30 minutes.
