I&J Chicken Burgers Classic

Served in a pita with a sweet chili and low fat cream cheese dip

Serves: 2-4

Preparation Instructions

You'll need the following Ingredients

4 I&J Chicken Burgers cooked according to the preparation guide
Sweet Chili and Low Fat Cream Cheese Dip
1 tub smooth low fat cream cheese
3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
4 pita breads

Preparation Method:

  1. Soften the cream cheese in a bowl with the back of a spoon
  2. Add sweet chili sauce and pepper and mix through thoroughly
  3. Lightly toast the pita breads
  4. Spread a generous amount of the sweet chili cream cheese on the inside of the pitas
  5. Place the chicken burger patties into the pita breads
  6. Add any other fillings of your choice, such as lettuce, cucumber or diced tomatoes

Product Preparation Guide

Bake:
In a preheated oven at 220 degrees Celsius for approximately 15 – 18 minutes. Turn after 10 minutes

Pan Fry:
In a little preheated oil over moderate heat for approximately 7 – 9 minutes, turning frequently.

Deep Fry:
At 180 degrees Celsius for approximately 3 to 3.5 minutes.
