Also known as Atlantic pomfret or Ray’s bream, Angelfish is a silver-coloured, disc-shaped, deep-water fish species with distinctive golden eyes, forked tails and a blunt snout. It has a firm texture and a delicate flavour and it makes a very good eating fish, steamed or baked or fried.
