A quick and easy, light beer-style batter envelops mildly flavoured, flaky Cape Hake fillets, making them yummy and ultra-crispy.
Serves 4
4 x I&J Deep Water Hake Fillets
Oil, for deep-frying
200 g cake flour for batter, plus extra for dusting
4 tsp (20 ml) baking powder
300 ml non-alcoholic, unflavoured beer
